The park is full of Elder and we took the opportunity to pick some of the flowers when they were in full bloom in the middle of June. As you can see Siobhan donned her apron (or did she have to borrow one of Clares’) and showed the gardeners how to turn this lovely flower into a delicious cordial.

We had great craic and had a few bottles of cordial for to make some refreshing drinks for ourselves and to offer visitors to the garden.
